DIN Inkjet Printing Paper Sizes (centimetres)

DIN stands for the Deutsches Institut für Normung. These paper sizes were established in 1922 (DIN 476). Feel free to save and share the jpgs for reference, linking would be welcome.

DIN A084,1 × 118,9
DIN A159,4 × 84,1
A2+43,2 x 64,8
DIN A242,0 × 59,4
A3+32,9 x 48,3
DIN A329,7 × 42,0

DIN A421,0 × 29,7
DIN A514,8 × 21,0
DIN A610,5 × 14,8

Each increase in DIN size (confusingly counting down) means double the surface area. For example two A4 pages laid side by side (long side together) will make up an A3 sized sheet.

Din + Paper Sizes

Additional + sizes are useful to print full size DIN pages without printing borderless, which can be then cut down to size.

Why not just print borderless?
Printing borderless can damage printer heads if the paper isn’t perfectly flat. Borders are assuming the print is centred and refer to each side.
